Meet J Dawgert Carlin, Principal
Leading with Insight Founder and Principal J Dawgert Carlin is a seasoned leadership professional with over 25 years of experience advising nonprofits, corporations, and public institutions on cultivating, nurturing, and growing leaders with an equity mindset. Additionally, J is a licensed psychotherapist, a tenured professor of psychology, and a senior college administrator. Recognized for designing and delivering impactful programs, J equips leaders to navigate interpersonal dynamics, implement meaningful personal and professional growth strategies, foster compassionate accountability in complex workplaces, and confidently guide groups through change processes.
J has collaborated with various organizations from non-profits, governmental agencies, Fortune 500s, and educational institutions. J’s workshops blend practical tools with transformative insights, equipping teams and leaders with the skills they need to thrive in today’s dynamically changing workplace.
J has an undergraduate degree in Regional Planning and a Master's Degree in Psychology and is completing a Doctorate in Education and Human Development.
Meet Nalini Calamur, Principal
Nalini Calamur brings a deep passion for strengthening communities and the organizations that serve them. She holds dual degrees in Biological Sciences and Chemical Engineering from Stanford University, as well as an advanced degree in Counseling Psychology. Combining analytical rigor with emotional intelligence, Nalini has provided transformative leadership in the nonprofit sector for over a decade.
As a skilled consultant, she facilitates conflict mediation, conducts training on navigating difficult conversations, and integrates culturally informed practices into all her work. In addition to her consulting expertise, Nalini is a licensed psychotherapist, a college instructor, and a dynamic workshop facilitator. She has collaborated with teams as diverse as those in the Canadian Yukon, diversity committees for international organizations, and complex community-based organizations with wide-ranging stakeholders.
Nalini is the proud child of immigrants and is multilingual and multicultural.
